The quest area's will remain party only. You should be able to defeat the boss with 20 players, so you can look for few more players and spawn bots together.

If you wish to level 1x, you can spawn a full party and pause (/make them stay) the bots. The party XP rate is always x1.

The spread command is just to help you spreading bots, bigger spreads will result in pulls.
