Insane amount of Honor gained

So, im missing something here.

Met a guy that last week got 132k honor, after asking, by "playing bg".
Been here for a while and I know what you get on average, even turning marks, those numbers are off.

Specially on a poorly geared character who apparently is also exalted on AB judging by the tabard, which takes quite a lot of time and effort.
I would even bet that character went through just 2 weeks of honor grind, ending both on 1st standing.

We not even talking about someone with 10k+ kills, I have a character with more total kills than that one and I am not even revered with WSG or AB, and I mostly play those.

So what is going on here, is there a hidden way to grind honor, is this product of some kind of exploit, truly can not figure.

Um 132k per week is not hard to get. This amount will only get you standing 4 or sth on the alliance side. The guy who got standing 1 on alliance side got at least 300k+. If you do some easy calculation, 1 av gives you 5k honor on a regular day. It takes about 20 to 30 mins for you to win so that's about 10k per hour excluding tokens. So you basically only need 12-13 hrs for 132k. That's really nothing and complete doable.

You are indeed missing something.

I intentionally got rank 13 on my warrior for the good looks and intercept bonus and I'd average 300-450k honor/week.

I played AV solely and I'd use all sorts of items, gadgets, potions and alternative gear to make that happen.

On average I'd win AV around 15-20 minutes and do that for 2-4 hours/day for a week. If done properly you'd get somewhere around 4-7k honor/Game depending on holiday bonuses or not and excluding turn-ins and kills. Just the bonus honor.
