Weird Paladin-bot Behavior

Since early levels none of the paladin bots I summoned would ever use any paladin auras or paladin blessings. I naively thought that was just the way things were on this server. Then at level 18 I saw another player and his four bots in a party with multiple auras and blessings active on all companions and knew something was wrong. I'm leaving this here in case someone in the future encounters the same problem and my trial-and-error solution can fix their problem as it fixed mine:

1. Enter a dungeon as a party of 5.
2. Convert the party to a raid.
3. Add a few paladin bots to Group 2. At this point you should see the bots in Group 2 start casting auras and blessings.
4. Move yourself from Group 1 to Group 2, you should now be receiving the proper auras and blessings.
5. Disband the raid and leave the dungeon.

And that's it! Any paladin bot I summon anywhere now is working correctly.
