QOL Suggestion regarding Warlock and Hunter pets

Would it be possible to give them the AOE damage reduction they got in a later patch? (I think it was the pre-tbc patch they got it), it's a shame not really being able to use Demonology and Beastmastery to their fullest because pets just fall over to any aoe.
